Why is a BANDH needed, when there is no use but LOSS only?

It is a pain of all small business owners, who are suffering with the politicians and their policies.

Who is asking for a BANDH? What is the use of it? This BANDH is arranged by all the opposition parties against the ruling government. All shops get closed. Buses do not run as usual.

Because of this situation, shall I explain the situation of all small business owners?

We don't have all the employees to work for the left out 3 hours power cut in the day for them to work.
Because of this productivity gets disturbed and we don't get the expected output.

There is no safety for woman folks coming to office. There is no proper security for marketing executives who work in field. There is no proper hotels or food for employees, since the shops and hotels are closed.

What will happen to the small shops and businesses who believe in daily income? Because of this bandh, they don't get the usual income and how will they pay their bills? how will they give salary to their employees?

You, stupid government is leading us to job losses and business closures.
Then, why won't people migrate out of the country for better jobs outside? Then why won't our people invent and invest outside India?

Stop making stupid policies and start doing proper planning. Do not leave the people suffer!!

129 TNSTC Madurai buses damaged last 5 months reported

In the aftermath of the Paramakudi police firing, 73 buses of TNSTC Madurai and Karaikudi divisions were damaged in stone pelting while four buses of Madurai division were damaged during Thevar Jayanthi on October 30. On January 10, 52 buses of the Madurai, Tirunelveli and Karaikudi divisions were attacked after dalit leader Pasupathi Pandian's murder. This apart, several private buses were also damaged in these incidents.

Those who damage buses do not realise that the buses were in fact their own property. Very poor situation. The people who are damaging do not pay income tax, and do not realize the government and other department organization workings. This is mainly the people who are jobless and crimes or backbones of certain political parties.

In most cases, these damages are triggered by the political parties in a way - what to do when etc.,

Atlast the damage goes to the pockets of the public and common people. How pity right?
Today, if you see the rate/price hike for the bus rides...you can imagine, from where part of the the problems are coming...

Management outlook/perspective of Tamil Nadu Political scenario

When somebody is running a political party, it is again a corporate company. The way a corporate company is managed is equal to the way a political party is managed. There is a leader or CEO of the party, sales and marketing team, business development team, financiers, treasurers/CFOs, leaf level party men who work for the benefit of the party.

When I wear the management hat and see the functioning of the parties in Tamil Nadu, I see only two categories of management philosophy being used. This is my personal opinion and I don't represent any organization or newspaper or company or party in Tamil Nadu.

AIADMK -
1) Mostly centralized management (One person CEO decision). Any decision is taken by centre (Chennai based CM).
2) End level party men cannot make any decision or even district level decisions cannot be made very easily. It has to be approved by the centre (Chennai based CM).
3) In other hand, the centre(Chennai based CM) is not reachable very easily. Hence the decisions are not made easily and not done very fast.
4) But - if a decision is made, then that implementation is done successfully, because all of the party workers will listen and do their duty properly, because there is more listening to the centre of the Tamil Nadu Government.
5) Overall, too much centralization.

DMK -
1) Here it is little different from the above in terms of centralization and decision making. Centre (Chennai based CM government by DMK) has lot of power spread across different people in Chennai itself.
2) Lot of power is given to the decentralized units like Madurai, Salem, Southern districts, Chennai suburbs, Chennai, Coimbatore etc., Too much decentralization is also a problem.
3) Overall, here it is a combination of centralization and decentralization, but there is centralization and also too much decentralization here.

Given the two parties, it is either centralization or too much decentralization and also centralization spread too much as well.

An ideal and good management style appropriate for Tamil Nadu would be to have Centralization and also do controlled decentralization. That would be the best style and appropriate government schemes can reach the people very easily. Hope either of the parties or new parties listens to this and make sure management is done well for the benefit of Tamil Nadu people.

Dhaya Engineering College Approval Pending Petition Filed 2011 to 2012

M K Alagiri Trust has submitted a petition that the All India Council for Technical Education had given permission to begin admissions from 2011-12 after due inspection by an expert team on May 18., but approval for admitting students for the coming year is still pending.

An AUT team pointed out three defects during the inspection on July 22 which included shortage of 175 books in a library, location of a cafeteria near class room and non-availability of transport. The defects which were "trivial" in nature were pointed out with ulterior motive to defer the college's request, it said adding yet the college had rectified them.

However, there seems to be delay in giving permission to admit students for 2011 t0 2012 academic year. The petition alleges that government authorities were intentionally refusing permission for the college because Alagiri Union Minister Chemicals and Fertilizers, a senior DMK leader, was one of the trustees.

Split Tamil Nadu (TamilNadu) into two states? - Chennai and Madurai as two capital cities!??

Is it good or bad to split Tamil Nadu into two states?

Well, hold on, hold on...This is only a question. I am not in favour of anything. This article is just an analysis. This is a highly political question.

After the outbreak of the decision of Central government to split Andhra Pradesh, there were lot of celebrations and oppositions from Andhra people from different parts of the state for the decision made. Following that, there were many states in the country asking for splitting their state too. In that, one of them was Tamil Nadu.

Not all of the political leaders were in favour of the split of Tamil Nadu. One of them was PMK party leader Dr.Ramadoss was in favor of the split of Tamil Nadu. Dr. Ramdoss said in an interview that - "While he proposed for the same split of Tamil Nadu long back, there was huge opposition, but there is no one opposing the split of Tamil Nadu NOW. Things have changed and people seem to like it, if proposed. Here is the video of Dr. Ramadoss in a press meet about split of Tamil Nadu. Why did they branch out and bring High Court to Madurai? Because - people from south do not have to go all the way to the Chennai city – that is the reason. It is all administrative convenience. Similarly the state can also split and be administered better.” – said PMK Leader Dr.Ramadoss.

What would they do if they split Tamilnadu into two states? North Tamil Nadu and South Tamil Nadu will be two states. There would be equal money contribution from the Center for development of states. Chennai would be the capital of former and Madurai would for latter. Obviously, there would be more concentration of improvement in Southern districts of Tamil Nadu, but the integrity as ONE TAMIL NADU will be broken. Will we want that?

The split should not have been talked about, but since the topic has come up, let us analyze it - right? We are not in favour of anybody, but just let us talk about it.

As ONE Tamil nadu, we have been integrated all the time wherever we go. Say - what if someone asks for separate country for Tamil nadu – will you accept it? I guess – it was already asking for These kinds of proposals will be always there. What is wrong in the current setup as ONE TAMIL NADU as part of ONE COUNTRY INDIA? Why can’t we just live with one tamil nadu state, and as a part of one country India. Why do we have to split it?

Some might argue that – administration will be better and improvement focus can be given to areas which are not given much attention. Quality and improvement of people in those areas can be increased.

In other side, separate administration will lead to a new ministers and have more funds flow and some politicians might favour from it. In other hand – people in the southern districts might also get favoured. Having said that – Did Jharkand or Uttaranchal improve drastically, just because it was split into two states?

Though the topic is very political, the situation is going to be same – even though the split happens.

What I would say is – let us just live with the same setup and live as ONE TAMIL NADU, instead of the split of the state. This will avoid new expenses like elections and doing some personal favors.

Let us try to improve as one state and one country and one mankind world!!

Note: The above is only my personal opinion and does not intend or aim to hurt or spoil or favor anybody or any organization or entity. I have the freedom of speech to express my opinions.

Vijayakanth changes DMDK candidate in Madurai

DMDK had Muthulakshmi as the candidate for Madurai. But, after the announcement of DMK as Mr.Azhagiri being given the seat in Madurai, DMDK evaluated the situation in Madurai.

DMDK President and Actor Vijayakanth decided to change the DMDK candidate for Madurai. Kaviarasu is the candidate from DMDK now. Muthulakshmi is moved to sivaganga most probably. Kaviarasu was a business man in Madurai leading the youth club of Vijayakanth fans.

There is not much popularity for Kaviarasu, however Vijayakanth is a popular personality among Madurai folks. We are not sure about the motive behind this change.

Madurai Collector: P. Seetharaman from Nov 2008

P.Seetharaman took charge as Madurai District Collector here on Monday. Prior to this assignment, Mr. Seetharaman served as Managing Director, Tamil Nadu State Marketing Corporation (TASMAC).

Previous Madurai Collector S.S.Jawahar will become the Managing Director of TASMAC. Prior to Jawahar, Madurai Collector was Udayachandran IAS.

I wonder the reason behind change of positions frequently. I am not sure why it is like that?!

By the way offtrack- a tit-bit information:

A total of 16,92,222 voters’ names, including that of 8,43,112 of women, had been published in the draft voter list covering Melur, Madurai East, Sholavandan (R), Madurai North, Madurai South, Madurai Central, Madurai West, Tirupparankundram, Tirumangalam and Usilampatti Assembly constituencies.

Madurai Politics/Madurai Arasiyal: Tirumangalam/Thirumangalam By-Election 2008/2009

Following the death of MDMK MLA Mr.Veera Elavarasan by Nov 2008, by-election (bye-election) is announced in Thirumangalam/Tirumangalam constituency.

The election is scheduled to happen by January 9th, 2008. By January 15th the election result would be out.

MDMK chief Vaiko (Vai Gopalsamy) has paved way to the partnership for a seat in Thirumangalam legislative election. AIADMK is contesting on behalf of the partnership between AIADMK and MDMK. Candidate nomination from any of the parties is not yet done.

Interesting part is it is going to be a great war between DMK and AIADMK. It is a prestige issue for both the parties. Since the constituency is in Madurai, it is a prestige issue for Mr. Anjaa nenjan Azhagiri. This task has to be done successfully from DMK's side.

No party is released a candidate yet.

By the way - there are other parties curious to take out some votes to their plate. Vijayakanth's DMDK and Sarath kumar's AISMK would be nominating one from each party.

This would take votes from DMK and AIADMK vote banks.

Let us see how it goes and we will closely watch this election. This will prove how strong the parties are in this Madurai area - Thirumangalam/Tirumangalam!!!
