Small changes to your life changes life in a positive way!!

Just by making small changes to your everyday spending, you’ll be amazed at how much more you can save to help be ready for retirement.

Look at the difference a small change can make.

ITEM

Morning Coffee
$12.50 week/$650 year
SAVINGS BALANCE IN 20 YEARS $32,118
ALTERNATIVE Make coffee at home

Movie
$10 week/$520 year
SAVINGS BALANCE IN 20 YEARS $25,695
ALTERNATIVE Rent videos

Lunch
$30 week/$1,560 year
SAVINGS BALANCE IN 20 YEARS $77,084
ALTERNATIVE Bring lunch to work

Assumptions: These hypothetical examples of savings are based on weekly contributions made at the beginning of the week to a tax-deferred retirement account earning an 8% annual rate of return compounded weekly over a 20-year period. Your own investment returns may be more or less than this example, and income taxes will be due when you withdraw from your account. Investing in this manner does not ensure a profit or guarantee against loss in declining markets.

Is Madurai Real Estate coming up? Is Madurai land costs hiking up?

Sponsored by OruAcre.com

Is Madurai Real Estate coming up? Is Madurai land costs hiking up?
Is buying a land in Madurai a good idea right now? Is it really worth to buy a land in Madurai?

Answers for all the questions above is YES.
Anytime, investing in Real Estate is a good idea. Most of the time, from a long-term perspective, investing in Real Estate is good.

Especially, when we have a news floating around - which would flourish the location in couple of years, then we need to move forward in buying the land. Here are some tips to buy a land in Madurai.

(1) First of all, find out whether the news of IT park in Madurai is valid or not.
(2) Check which side of Madurai, the actual IT park is coming up. Is it in south madurai or north madurai or near the madurai kamaraj university?
(3) See whether you have anybody help in Madurai for getting you the right contacts before buying the land in Madurai and also maintenance of the land after you buy the land.
(4) After above all conditions, we will have to contact the seller or broker to finalize the deal.
(5) Before you finalize the deal, you need to have couple of choices to buy a land in madurai. So list out all the lands from all the sellers and brokers or real estate agents.
(6) People will try to fool you because you are in a desire to buy a land in madurai at any cost and you should be wary about agents in madurai before they cheat you.
(7) Once you choose a land to buy, go through the validity check for couple of years backwards in madurai corporation.
(8) If the land passes in validity check for like 50-100 years, then go ahead in the documentation and finalizing the deal.

To give you some hints, what I have found with my research was - some part of IT park is coming near MKU(west madurai) and some part of IT park is coming in the north madurai. That should give you some hint.

Even I researched on the land cost near MKU Madurai - It was all OK and good to buy. Ten acres of land was around 4 lakhs, which is around 9000 US dollars, but it is worth the money.

I am not in a position to buy, so I have not bought the lands. But if you want to buy, we can help following the above procedure and in a very professional manner.
We have very good contacts in Madurai and we can help you complete a deal in Madurai Real Estate.

If you feel you need help, mail us at newmadurai@gmail.com. Best and preferred way to contact is through Email.

Author is Madurai Machan(Internet KeyBoard Name); Owner of Madurai Times - After you email us, we will provide the contact numbers.

BrokenConnection.com as one of the web 2.0 website

In the era of Web 2.0 companies, one another company has emerged called BrokenConnection.com.

This new age website provides a platform for people to find anyone, who had lost their connection.

Advantages: It is quite innovative, but it has its own flaws. The idea is new and the technology they have used is nothing but a set of free open source forum builders to build the platform.

Disadvantages: It might become very clumsy if it is not coordinated properly or organized properly.

Overall, BrokenConnection.com is a new effort by someone, among the web 2.0 companies. If the same effort is made by Google, everyone will come in. But in this case, not sure about the popularity and marketing. But hope these guys will make it a hit, if they make their marketing and infrastructure strong.

Forgotten Mahatma Gandhi??

As on date - there is not much talk about Mahatma Gandhi and he is not mentioned to children very often, unlike what used to happen to people of my age...

Anyway - here are Gandhi's views regarding the Bhagavad Gita!

The Gita is the universal mother. She turns away nobody. Her door is wide open to anyone who knocks. A true votary of Gita does not know what disappointment is. He ever dwells in perennial joy and peace that passeth understanding. But that peace and joy come not to skeptic or to him who is proud of his intellect or learning. It is reserved only for the humble in spirit who brings to her worship a fullness of faith and an undivided singleness of mind. There never was a man who worshipped her in that spirit and went disappointed. I find a solace in the Bhagavad-Gita that I miss even in the Sermon on the Mount. When disappointment stares me in the face and all alone I see not one ray of light, I go back to the Bhagavad-Gita. I find a verse here and a verse there , and I immediately begin to smile in the midst of overwhelming tragedies -- and my life has been full of external tragedies -- and if they have left no visible or indelible scar on me, I owe it all to the teaching of Bhagavad-Gita.

100% Health Fitness ToDo - Daily

Just like brushing your teeth, healthy habits should be cultivated on a daily basis. The following is a guide to daily tasks:

1. Activity should be a daily occurrence. Walk, run or jump for a minimum total of 20 minutes a day.

2. Protect your skin. Sun block should be applied on face, neck, arms and hands even in the dead of winter. It protects against climatic toxins too. Moisturize skin daily.

3. Eat fruits, vegetables, grains, low-fat dairy products and small amounts of protein. Avoid sweets and other processed foods.

4. Meditate or spend a minimum of five minutes daily in quiet time.

5. Find your spiritual self. Discover what inspires you, raises your level of consciousness, motivates you, and satisfies your soul.

6. Exercise your brain. Read, study, solve problems, and learn new skills. As does the body, the brain atrophies with lack of use.

7. Hug somebody.

Dental Care - Take Care of your teeth!

DENTAL CARE is very important - right from the young age - otherwise you will repent for it later....

Eating sugar, as you probably already know, is a major cause of tooth decay. But it's not just how much sugar you eat - when and how you eat it can be just as important to keeping teeth healthy.

When you eat sugary foods or drink sodas frequently throughout the day, the enamel that protects your teeth is constantly exposed to acids. Hard candies, cough drops, and breath mints that contain sugar are especially harmful because they dissolve slowly in your mouth. Many experts suggest that you take a 3-hour break between eating foods containing sugar.

Sugary or starchy foods eaten with a meal are less harmful to your teeth than when they're eaten alone, possibly because the production of saliva, which washes away the sugar and bacteria, is increased. Eating sugary foods before you go to bed can be the most damaging (especially if you don't brush your teeth afterward) because you don't produce as much saliva when you sleep.

For most people, it's hard to cut out sweets completely, so try to follow these more realistic guidelines:

* Eat carbohydrates (sugars and starches) with a meal.
* If you can't brush your teeth after eating, rinse your mouth with water or mouthwash, or chew sugarless gum.
* Don't eat sugary foods between meals.
* If you snack, eat nonsugary foods, such as cheese, popcorn, raw veggies, or yogurt.
