Why is Power cut heavily in Tamil Nadu - Madurai, Trichy, Coimbatore?

Why is heavy power cut in other parts of Tamil Nadu, than Chennai?

Are human beings not living in other parts of Tamil Nadu, than Chennai?
There is only 1 or 2 hours power cut in Chennai, while there is around 10 hours erratically happenning in Madurai, Trichy and Coimbatore. Why is this heavy partiality?

Can't that be 4 hours in Chennai and 3 hours in Madurai? This is not fair on the government. In fact, Chennai folks have UPS, Inverter, Generator etc., and they have the capability to purchase such things and run their businesses. But the business and small companies in Madurai will not be able to address these power problems with heavy correction infrastructure for Power refilling.

This makes heavy loss for all the industries in Madurai, Trichy, Coimbatore, Tirupur etc., I know many companies and factories are closing down and they cannot keep their employees idle in the working time, when the power is not there.

The problems happen and I accept there is some difficulty for the government to get power. But, why this much time? Definitely, this is a failure point and black point for this government. What are the Ministers doing? What are the IAS officers doing? What are the Councillors doing? What are the NGOs doing?

Overall, why there is no protest from the people or organizations? Is everyone afraid of this government and not doing any protest against ruling government? In that case, how bad this government and where is the democracy in this?

Tamil Nadu Government - Please do something to bring us to light with some power!? Even if the power is expensive, at least that is fine in some sense.
Ultimate sufferers are the poor people, Small and Medium Companies in non-Chennai - Other parts of tamil nadu - Madurai, Trichy, Coimbatore, Erode, Salem, Tirupur etc.,!!

Government Rajaji Hospital extension starts functioning yesterday

Government Rajaji Hospital extension was built during previous government and it was inaugurated as well, but the hospital did not start functioning.

Due the elections, the hospital was kept idle and it was slowly deteriorating and many newspapers have wrote about it.

The hospital extension was built in the place of the previous Anna Bus stand. The hospital was waiting to be operated till now for the tools, machines and employees to work in it and also due to elections and change of government.

However, yesterday one small part of the hospital started to function. Hope all of the extension will be started functioning and many of the public will be benefited!

Erode District Collector Mr.Anand Kumar enrolls his daughter in Government school!

Previously his daughter was studying in a matriculation school for 1st standard. Now she is going to 2nd standard. Recently he took charge as Erode collector after the tamil nadu state elections.

Mr.Anand Kumar has visited a village called Kumalankuttai, which is just half a kilometer away from Erode and visited a government school in that area. He sat in the parents chair and did not sit in the head mistress chair, even though she has offered to sit in her chair.

He has asked for the free clothes for her daughter and for free food for her daughter. One additional information is Mr.Anand kumar's wife is a doctor. Given the situation he is a well-to-do and well-educated, he is going for our government system for education. It takes lot of courage and confidence on the system he is working with.

He probably wants his daughter to start from grass roots even though he and his family can get whatever he wants in the country. But he is taking an interesting route.

The reason this information has been captured in news is because this is unusual and this is a turn-around of our indian government based education system. Will this improve the education system? Will this change and improve the way the lessons are taught in that school and other schools in the area? Of course, there will be extra care, because the collector might take action if the things are not performing in these schools and up to the standard and to the level of other private schools.

The teachers in government school are not paid less. They get all the benefits and also they enjoy pension. The government schools are also supposed to be great in performance, efficiency in comparison with any other private schools.

We really appreciate the actions of the Erode Collector Anand Kumar. Hats off to you sir! This is a great move and this will be a great example and thanks for being an exemplification.

In foreign countries, public schools (government schools) seats are in very much demand. They get filled as soon as possible. That is because the standard of government schools are very good and it is free. Free does not matter when it comes to children's education. But the standard and efficiency of the school is important.

Many of us say that these things don't work in India . Couple of months back, the Faridabad Municipal Corporation laid new roads in his area and the residents were very happy about it. But 2 weeks later, BSNL dug up the newly laid roads to install new cables which annoyed all the residents. A resident used the above listed grievance forum to highlight his concern. To his surprise, BSNL and Municipal Corporation of Faridabad were served a show cause notice and the guy received a copy of the notice in one week. Government has asked the MC and BSNL about the goof up as it's clear that both the government departments were not in sync at all.

So use this grievance forum and educate others who don't know about this facility. This way we can at least raise our concerns instead of just talking about the 'System' in India.

No agricultural land for SEZ - Madurai Lands

This is about Madurai land and other lands in india, being acquired by government from farmers.

The central government of india said no agricultural and irrigated land should be taken for Special Economic Zones.

“When a person is not ready to sell his land and it is acquired through the law, he has to be compensated financially as well as psychologically. Besides, land for land is also acceptable,” he said.
