Ladies who are divorced, separated, away from their husband (abroad), or single woman or house having only ladies. Is it safe in madurai?

There is always a thinking that the house is being watched by strangers and will they do the theft someday or any kind of crime someday?

Does Madurai safe enough? Most of the rowdies get funding either by kandhu vatti or via theft or political activities.
