Waiting for Maruti Swift car for 6 months!

Isn't it absurd for someone who can arrange money via a loan for buying an item and the seller says you will have to wait for 6 months to 1 year. I think it is completely absurd.

Even I know one of my relative, who just bought another version of the car company like Maruti Ritz just for the reason of delay of delivery of the car (product). He just needed this car very soon.

I understand that the demand is more and supply is less. When there is more demand, why can't the company build more manufacturing units to manufacture more units?

Has Maruti (in those days ambassador was like this) not changed for the consumers yet? even during this competitive times, it has not changed.

I even know some of my friends who went for Hyundai cars or Chevrolet or other car companies just for the reason for delay in delivery of Maruti Swift or Maruti Swift DZire etc.,

They cannot just stay the same way and delay the delivery of the product. Consumer decides to purchase and then waits for 1 year and by that time he looses the interest of car itself!
