100 companies in Tamil Nadu to benefit from CII''s Employability Bridge Initiative

CII's Employability Bridge initiative would help around 100 companies in Tamil Nadu to identify potential candidates for fresh recruitment from over 30 colleges in Tamil Nadu. To ensure quality education and bridge the gap between industry and academia, CII launched the 'Employability Bridge' early this year. Around 15000 students are expected to benefit from this initiative. CII has identified Surgeforth Technologies as the program management partner for this initiative.

Mr Ambalavanan Ramachandran, Director of surgeforth Technologies said that the Institutions which have signed MOU to subscribe to the Employability Bridge platform, which include PPG Institute of Technology, Coimbatore, DMI Engineering College, Chennai, SKR Engineering College, Chennai, SRG Engineering College, Namakkal, JJ College of Engineering & Technology, Trichy, SACS MAVMM Engineering College, Madurai have signed MOU to subscribe the Employability Bridge platform. Many CII member companies have also come forward to make use of the Employability Bridge platform.

The Employability bridge is also proposed to be expanded to technical domain- Life sciences, Bio-technology, Civil & Structural Engineering and reach out to around 50 colleges in southern region. At present around 2000 students are using this platform.
