Madurai Anna Technical University Construction work to be initiated by end of January 2011

It was planned by the government to inaugurate for the initiation of Anna Technical University in Madurai by January 8th 2011. Due to different plans, the function is postponed to end of January.

As we all know, Anna Technical University operations is already started and the classes are going on in the Madurai Kamaraj University Evening College Campus, Madurai.

Government has allotted 84 acres in Madurai for Anna Technical University. Now, the Corporation is asking for Rs.150 crores for construction and making of this technical university in Madurai.

Hope the budget will be allotted and as planned the inauguration for work initiation will happen by this month end - January 2011.
