Central Government official has discussed with other officials to come up with list of projects for improvement for Madurai as a industrial city.

Here are some projects in Madurai -

1) Workforce diverse city worth 1500 Crores
2) Maditssia 50 acre small business park
3) CII 100 acre herbal park
4) 2011 1000 hand business candidates training
5) In panchayat gramin Guam abiyan central govt programme
6) District business improvement council to be formed
7) Construction industry training for 5000 people in alliance with L&T.
