Zoo in Madurai - Zoological Park in Madurai is planned

It is being in plans for getting a zoological park in Madurai very soon.

State government has approved for zoological park in Madurai and even location were also examined it seems. A location near Nagamalai Pudukkottai seems to be suitable for the living beings, according to the temperature, water availability etc.,

Looks like the Central Government has to approve.

Given the scenario that Chennai and Trivandrum has these kinds of parks and this fetches good amount of income to the government, it will be a good idea to get a zoo in Madurai. This will get some income for sure for the government.
