Forecast on Metals Prices and its demand - Gold, Silver, Bronze, Brass, Copper, Aimpon, Panchalogam

As you know Gold has raised in prices for the past 5-10 years to a significant degree. Two years back we never knew Silver will go up in prices to a large extent. Last year Silver was just Rs.30 per gram and this year, it is Rs.70 per gram.

Where are we going with this? Well, metals are going up in prices. There were times during our maharaja days, only the produced items were costly like Salt, Jaggery, processed food items etc., were expensive, but these metals were not this expensive. Now, the situation has changed, these metals have become very expensive.

We are not going to discuss about Diamonds, Palladium, Platinum etc., which are top class and does not come in this article itself.

However, Gold has gone up like a rocket! Silver has been following it surprisingly. Next what? Will the next generation afford to buy Gold items? Every generation will make a part of their ornaments much more heavier and expensive due to its age and its make and its weight.

What will happen next to Gold, Silver? We are looking into Aimpon (Panchalogam Panchaloham - means Five Metals), Gun Metal, Bronze, Brass, Copper etc., Some of them are metals purely, and some are alloys of various metals.

I would say invest in Aimpon, Bronze and Brass. They are very good to invest and you can keep for your lifetime and pass it on to your generations to come. Aimpon is something which will be glossy in the beginning but slowly, it would darken due to the mixture, but advantage is it will have an antique look sooner. Brass is heavy duty and it is used in common usage, but it will also darken. However Bronze is something which will not darken due to its mix - Copper and Tin. When Copper and tin goes 4:1 ratio, it becomes Bell Metal.

We have cross may ages - stone age, iron age, copper age, bronze age, alumium etc., and now we in stainless steel age, even plastic age is kind of crossed, chinese mica age? Now next what? Anyway, more and more a metal dates back, it becomes very useful and precious.

In two generations BRONZE will be very expensive and that is my prediction. After Gold, Silver Bronze has bright future, given its very good GOLD color.
