I'm Thai. I went to Madurai just this new year. Madurai really need improvement in traffic and location sign. It 's too difficult for traveler to reach. everywhere is taxi needed. It's better to consider about city layout. It must be zoned to Ancient and conservative area, Modern shopping area, local market area, residential area ,park and ecological area. Try to manage and promote the trip route to minimize the time spending on the road. Have a warranty sign from local government for the quality local goods exp. food, dessert, souvenier etc. so,Traveler can trust in quality. The most important thing, Meenakshi Amman temple which Madurai use as city landmark should be more open. I hear from other traveler also about disappoint for restrict area.
I'm happy to have a channel to cheer up the improvement. I like this city, I hope to see the development without cultural ruin.
