For those who don’t know abt us:
We are running “SWAMI VIVEKANANDA BOOK BANK”, with the prime objective of lending a helping hand to deserving and underprivileged Engg students. This semester we were able to help 14 Engg students and looking forward to help 5 more students. We identified the students with the help of few govt.school H.Ms and friends’ circle. Our principle is very simple – “serving only the deserving”.

Just a summary of book bank processing:

* Issue of appln forms to the students. The students have to mention the contact of a reference (School principal/ neighbour) by means of whom he/she came to know abt our book bank.
* The forms should be filled in with all the details of the student and it should be attested by dept.H.O.D.
* Address proof & income proof should also be produced along with completed appln. Forms.
* Elimination of students who don’t fit into our scheme of things
* Issue of books to the deserving students.
